Highlights Namibia

Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei is one of Namibia’s most spectacular natural wonders, famous for its towering red sand dunes, some of the highest in the world. Located in the Namib Desert, it offers striking landscapes with white salt pans, ancient dead trees, and ever-changing light conditions that attract photographers and nature lovers alike. Visitors can climb iconic dunes like Dune 45 or Big Daddy and experience unforgettable desert scenery, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Orange River

The Orange River forms part of the border between Namibia and South Africa and is the longest river in South Africa. It flows westward into the Atlantic Ocean, supporting agriculture and providing water in an otherwise arid region. The river is also popular for canoeing and scenic tours through rugged landscapes.

Fish River

The Fish River Canyon in southern Namibia is one of the largest canyons in the world, stretching about 160 km long and up to 27 km wide. Carved over millions of years by the Fish River, it features dramatic cliffs, rugged terrain, and striking desert landscapes. It’s a popular destination for hiking, especially the challenging Fish River Canyon Trail.

Kolmannskop

Kolmanskop is an abandoned diamond mining town in southern Namibia, once a thriving settlement during the early 1900s diamond rush. After the diamonds were depleted, it was gradually deserted, and today it is known for its eerie, sand-filled buildings. The site is now a popular tourist attraction, showcasing both its history and striking desert scenery.
