15 Days Family Safari in Botswana and Namibia
Mix with Lodges and Camping
Highlights Botswana and Namibia
Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is the world’s largest inland delta and disappears entirely into the central Kalahari Desert. This unique feature has earned it UNESCO World Heritage status. Thanks to its rich flora and fauna, the delta is one of Africa’s premier safari destinations, offering both water-based and land-based wildlife experiences.
A safari along one of the channels of the Okavango River is a truly unique experience. In a traditional mokoro canoe, you glide peacefully through hundreds of papyrus-lined waterways, forming a vast network of lagoons and islands.
Khwai Concession
The Khwai Concession borders the northeastern corner of the Okavango Delta and is known for its authentic, community-based tourism, which supports local villages within the concession and creates employment opportunities for residents.
The rich diversity of wildlife and the breathtaking beauty of the Khwai River, which winds its way through the area, make Khwai a safari destination that should not be missed on any trip to Botswana.
Etosha Nationalpark
Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, centered around a vast salt pan that attracts large concentrations of animals, especially during the dry season. Visitors can expect exceptional game viewing, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and large herds of antelope gathering at waterholes. Its open landscapes and well-maintained roads make it ideal for self-drive safaris and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Caprivi Strip
Caprivi Strip is a narrow, water-rich extension of northeastern Namibia bordered by Angola, Zambia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe, known for its lush landscapes compared to the rest of the country. It is characterized by rivers such as the Zambezi and Kwando, which support diverse wildlife and make it a prime area for safari experiences and boat-based game viewing. The region offers a unique mix of wetlands, forests, and floodplains, making it one of Namibia’s most biodiverse and scenic areas.
