14 Days Safari in Kruger Nationalpark with a Beach Break in Mozambique

Highlights of Kruger NP & Mozambique

Greater Kruger Area

Named after Paul Kruger, the park is the largest national park in South Africa by area and stretches across the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. Kruger National Park is renowned for unforgettable encounters with the Big Five (there are also the Small Five and the Ugly Five) and its breathtaking landscapes shaped by a variety of biomes.

The Greater Kruger Area is home to many private game reserves that have opened their borders to the Kruger National Park. Another highlight is the Panorama Route, featuring the Three Rondavels and Bourke’s Luck Potholes.

Vilanculos

Vilanculos is a small coastal town in Mozambique, known for its beautiful shallow-water beaches, freshly caught fish, deliciously prepared seafood, and colorful market stalls on local markets. The people of Vilanculos are always smiling and warmly embrace their hospitality toward international visitors.

The offshore Bazaruto Archipelago is a true paradise, with secluded sandy beaches and an extraordinary underwater world. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a dugong.

Inhambane

Inhambane, along with Vilanculos, is one of the most important beach and seaside destinations for both domestic and international tourists. The beaches in Inhambane are lined with dunes and are perfect for long walks along the shore. In the main areas of Tofo and Barra, you’ll find bars and restaurants, while the beaches further south are quiet and secluded.
